The style of the interaction utilized in a UI system plays an important role in the usability of the interface. It should be relevant to the context of the tasks being accomplished and the environment in which they are being performed. The style of interaction that is best for repetitive tasks may be different than what would be best for tasks that are performed with far less frequency or in different surroundings. Determining the best style of UI for how the users interact with a product or device will go a long way to meeting the needs of the users and improving their user experience.
