User Interface and Usability Design conferences

One of the many benefits of attending User Interface and Usability conferences is that they allow you to develop and extend skills in your current field of work, as well as learn something completely new. Choosing the right conference often depends on goals to expand your knowledge base, the event’s location, and the desire to network and re-establish working connections.

Here are just a few of the conferences that are worth investigating:

IxDA – March 2-4, Helsinki Finland. The craft of design is in an exciting place right now. Designers have finally earned their seat in the corner office, but at the same time the dynamic within the industry is changing rapidly and constantly. The big question the Interaction Design Association asks is to raise is what’s next in design, for professionals, consultants, studios and enterprises alike.

IA Summit – In our current consumer environment, the intentional design of information environments for findability, understanding, and adaptability has never been more important. The IA Summit believes everyone who contributes to the creation of these spaces needs to understand Information Architecture. May 4-8, 2016.

AIGA Design Conference – Occurring October 17-19 in Las Vegas, the American Institute of Graphic Arts Design Conference is the biggest event of the year for creatives from all across the country and the world.
